Down to the Final Four in the NFL! Must have been a wild ride in the Broncos locker room after squeaking out a win against the Bills in OT. We did it! Heading to Conference Championship! Oh no, Bo!
Think the Pats will take it, but they didn’t inspire conference last weekend either. Feel like CJ Stroud thought it was Christmas in January – he was giving away gifts to the Pats just like joly old Saint Nic!
Out West, we have the two best teams going toe-to-toe. Seahawks will be at home with the 12s, while the Rams are looking to win their three straight game away from the comfy confines of SoFi Field. Feel like Sam Darnold didn’t really get tested in a big fame last week as it was a blowout against San Fran right from the start.
Here’s to hoping for a couple of close games on this frigid Sunday for most people in North America! Nothing better than playoff football when the weather isn’t cooperating outside.
Divisional Record: 1-3
Playoff Record: 5-5
Regular Season Record: 124-145-5
We might have just witnessed the greatest weekend of playoff football, ever! We had fourth quarter lead changes, improbable touchdowns, and vicious sacks (looking at you Justin Herbert!).
Wild Card Round set a new postseason record for fourth-quarter lead changes in just four games. The lead changed hands 12 times across six games, although only four games actually saw a fourth-quarter flip, with none being more ridiculous than the Chicago Bears snatching victory from the jaws of defeat to rip the hearts out of Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.
The Wild Card round also set a new postseason record for touchdowns in the final three minutes of regulator. There were four memorable game-winners, including the Ram’s Colby Parkinson making a ridiculous 19-yard TD grab from likely league MVP, Matthew Stafford, with the clock running down.
Not sure it’s possible for the Divisional Round to top what we say last weekend, but here’s to hoping! Game picks are below:
Wild Card Record: 4-2
Playoff Record: 4-2
Regular Season Record: 124-145-5
Wild week 18 lines and finishes. Really hard to bet and read which teams are checked out and already on the beach. Tough week. But, not as bad as the week Tyler Loop just had.
Right into the first round of the playoffs. We have three home teams as dogs, Panthers, Bears, and Steelers. Weird! Playoffs also seem pretty wide open this year…does anyone trust Sam Darnold to lead the Super Bowl favourite Seahawks?
All the picks for this weekend are in bold below! Going to miss the Saturday NFL games!
Week 18 Record: 5-11
Season Record: 124-145-5
Lots of games with playoff implications this weekend. Seahawks-Niners, Panthers-Bucs, and Ravens-Steelers. But the Saints-Falcons could be the most ridiculous one of the bunch! Let’s see what happens and see if we can end the regular season on a winning high!
Picks are in bold below:
Week 17 Record: 7-9
Season Record: 119-134-5
Christmas time! Real stinky slate of Christmas Day games, but the weekend games look much more interesting (at least on paper). Hoping for no more lumps of coal this weeknd!
Week 16 Record: 12-4
Season Record: 112-125-5
