Thursday night games have not been kind so far this season. We’re sporting an impressive 0-3 record against the spread. Last week, we were convinced that Mitch T still wanted to be an NFL quarterback and was primed to ball out. Poof! That went up in flames real fast. On the bright side, at least we didn’t take the under and endure one of the worst back door covers of all time. The Steelers attempt some magic with the Stanford band play which backfires and results in a Browns score with double zeros on the scoreboard. Ouch! Just another example why betting the under is for chumps!
Tonight we have Tua “I have a back problem that makes me stumble around like a drunken sailor on the football field” Tagovailoa against Joe “Think I can throw more picks than Tampa Bay Jameis?” Burrow. Slightly surprised the Bengals are 3.5 favourites, but Tua is dealing with “back spasms” and Miami is poised for a let down game after beating the Bills on Sunday afternoon. Thursday night games are always weird and the Bengals looked better last week against the Jets – whatever that’s worth.
