We might be the Miami Dolphins of the sportsbooks world to start the season. Nothing going right in the first few weeks. But hey, it’s a long, long season and we just need one good Sunday to turn things around.

So there are some interesting teams out there. For example, the Colts. The Colts are 2-0, but are we feeling good about a Daniel Jones renaissance? Then there are a bunch of teams that looked good on opening weekend and not so good in week two, so hard to figure it out. I’m looking at you Raiders, Steelers, Jets, and Broncos. And then there is another group of teams that looked uninspired in week one and turned it on last weekend: Seahawks and the Lions.

Ouch! Tough, tough start to the new football season.

Hard to make out what happened in week 1 without overreacting. Bunch of teams looked terrible, while some teams that were expected to be terrible looked great!

There are a bunch of teams looking to go an unexpected 2-0 to open up the campaign. We’re looking at the Raiders and Colts in particular.

And then there are few playoff teams that want to avoid dropping down to 0-2, including Chiefs, Lions, and Ravens. Historically, if your team starts the season down 0-2, you’ve only got a 11% chance of making the playoffs. Not a big deal! No pressure!

Then there are the teams that we have no clue what to think – we’re looking at you Dolphins! Was last week an anomaly or are we on the path to a rebuild? Week 1 overreaction activated!
