Hard to believe its almost Thanksgiving for our American friends south of the border.
Anybody else watch the Tyson-Paul fight on Friday night? Not good. Only good thing that came out of that debacle was the announcer letting us know that Netflix will be the home of Christmas NFL games this year. Hope they can figure out their buffering issue by then.
We also have two marquee games this week: Ravens visiting the Steelers and the Bills hosting the Chiefs. Lamar usually struggles against the Steelers and Russell seems to be finally in sync on the field after leaving the Pacific Northwest.
In the other game feature game, the undefeated Chiefs can’t be feeling too good after narrowly escaping the Broncos last Sunday. Josh Allen and the Bills seem to be rolling and will be coming into the game with lots of confidence

Week 10 Record: 8-6
Season Record: 83-67-2
Looks like the Cowboys season is finished with Dak scheduled for season ending surgery to repair his hamstring suffered against the Falcons.
This week the Jets season is on the line against the Cardinals in Glendale. Wonder if Rodgers can channel that Hail Mary energy again in Arizona.
We also have another international game showcasing the Giants and Panthers this week in Germany. Just be thankful you’ll probably forget this game is starting early in the morning and miss it. We’re sorry Germany! Not the best way to sell the game internationally.

Season Record: 75-61-2
Not much to say about last week’s 7-9 performance other than not great. Would have been a .500 week if Jayden Daniels wasn’t drinking unicorn juice and hitting game ending hail mary passes against the Bears. But hey, we’re over it…right?

There are certainly some spooky matchups this week that have the potential to bury some coaches on the hot seats. Do the Dangeruss led Steelers have the fortitude to slay the Giants and turn Coach Diabol into a pumpkin? Another blowout loss during a primetime game for the Giants might just be too much to raise from the dead.
Don’t get me started with the Cowboys! Has the potential to be an ugly one in BIG D with all of the injuries on both teams. A Sunday night beatdown by the 49ers though and Coach McCarthy might not be allowed to travel back on the team plane. We shall see!

Week 7 Record: 8-7

Wowzers! Lots of tickets cashed last week and we’re aiming to roll that into another big week during week 7 of the 2024 season.
Game of the week is Kansas City visiting San Francisco in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. While I look forward to watching the game on the field, I’m also interested in listening to Tom Brady in the booth as he might be the one participant in the game under the most pressure. He was approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders this week, but it comes with strings attached, including: can not publicly criticize officials and other clubs. Brady was already off to a not so hot start to lucrative broadcasting career (10-year deal with Fox for $375 million) so it will be interesting to hear how he threads that needle as I’m pretty sure he’s being paid by Fox to give honest takes on what he sees on the field.
Anyways, I expect there to be a couple of let down games for teams this week after emotional wins last week (looking at you Lions, you Commanders).
