Week 3 Record: 9-6-1

Well, we’re off to a safe start to the season. Back-to-back winning weeks! But just barely!
Keeping it short and sweet this week! We ran out of time to get a Thursday night preview into the hopper, but you can be certain we took the 49ers to cover against the Giants to kick off the week.
We really like a couple of games this week (looking at you Mac Attack and the Patriots at the Meadowlands and Dolphins at home against the Broncos), but there are others that are much tougher to make a call (the Bradon Staley Hot Seat Bowl in Minny and the Titans in Cleveland to face off against the Elves).
One thing we do know is that the Chiefs will eventually find their groove on offense and we think a home game against the Bears for Kelce, Mahomes and the boys will do exactly that. The Monday Night game between the Rams and the Bengals is also a hard one to handicap with Joe Cool’s calf potentially ruling him out for the game. Regardless, we have been really impressed with the Rams to start the season with an outright win in Seattle to open the season and a solid ATS win against the 49ers last week keeping the final score within one possession. Like the Rams and the points, but if Burrow is eventually ruled out for Monday night, we could potentially see the line flip , making the Rams a small favourite, and we might reconsider.

Week 2 Record: 8-7-1

Well what does the NFL have in sort for us tonight after an eventful opening weekend. Vikings are looking a bit beat up with serious question marks along the offensive line tonight. Justin Jefferson had a monster first half against against the Bucs last Sunday, but cooled off down the stretch and wasn’t able to find the end zone. Think he’ll be motivated tonight to catch his first touchdown under the bright Amazonian lights of Thursday Night and solidify his perch atop the wide receiver ranks.
As for the Eagles, they played some pretty uninspiring ball last week after blitzing the Pats early and racing out to an early 16-0 lead in the first quarter. While the Eagles roster might be the deepest and most talented in the league, there was significant change to the leadership of the offense and defense after both of their Super Bowl coordinators took head coaching jobs in the offseason. This is an underrated variable that has the potential to significantly impact the flow of the team, particularly early in the season. Hurts didn’t play much in the preseason and he’s still getting adjusted to a new play caller. Expect some more uneven play tonight from the Eagles.

NFL 2023…here we go!! The start of the season always a clean slate, so much hope, so many dreams! Projects win totals listed below. Will be fun to look back at the end of the regular season and see which teams will have us going “What were we thinking!”

Let’s keep it simple. Chiefs are a one point underdog less than two hours to kick off against the Eagles in Arizona. We like the Chiefs in a close matchup.
