And just like that we’re already on to Week 7 of the NFL season. Last week was spicy with some big time head scratchers. Hats off to anyone that cashed a Jets-Browns moneyline parlay. We’ll see you at the penthouse party soon!
Everyone is looking forward to the Sunday night game as the marquee matchup and the Eagles pulling out the retro green uniforms. Despite the sharp look, I think Tua, Tyreek, and the Dolphins are going to win the game. Hurts will once again be thrust into Tua’s shadow, while Saban leans back in his chair at home thinking if only I could have one of those QBs starting for the Crimson Tide now.
We also have some truly uninspiring games on the schedule this weekend. Anybody going to watching the Commanders-Giants matchup or the Raiders-Bears? We think not! For those keeping track at home, we like the Commanders to cover the three points and the Raiders to do the same in the “Backup Quarterback Bowl”. Hoyer vs Begent! In case you didn’t know, Tyson Bagent likes Crossfit! Crossfit has been playing up that story on all of their socials this week and we’re already tired of it. But not quite as tired of the repeated attempts of current and former Patriots coaches thinking they can mold Brian Hoyer into a serviceable backup. We just don’t get it!
There are also some fun lines out West this weekend to keep an eye on. Sean McVay felt the need to tell the word that his unborn son knows best not to arrive into the world on game, so fear not Rams’ fans, he’ll be in the building. Unfortunately his presence and musk will simply not be enough as we expect the Steelers to keep it close – within 3 points to exact! Also kinda, maybe surprised the Broncos are home dog this weekend against the Packers. Both teams didn’t look great in their last game, but figured the Broncos homefield advantage would make them the betting favourite, but what do we know!
